I provide remote and in-office psychotherapy and health consultation to expatriates living in/or outside the US and Canada.
I lived and studied abroad and later built my own practice in both countries. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and understand both cultural complexities. I have practiced psychotherapy overseas and have extensive experience treating people who have lived and worked internationally.
I understand firsthand the opportunitiesy, dreams, and the emotional demands and real challenges that accompany living in a foreign country while adapting to a new culture.
I specialize in a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, adaptation to retirement, maintaining sobriety, loneliness, grief, and loss of identity. I also work with marital and family issues such as parenting and family dynamics.
